Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
